HOT AND HUMID NIGHT IN MINNEAPOLISIt was a hot and humid summer night in Minneapolis.
As the sun started to go down, I sat outside on my favorite patio chair with an ice cold one and started to
reflect upon the things that were extremely important to me. No, Paris Hilton wasn't one of them. My wife,
family, friends, dog and happiness. The essentials, I guess. Where has the time gone? It truly feels like
I was 18 a couple of days ago and now I am a few months shy of 40! As a busy entrepreneur, it's easy to get lost
in your work and sometimes you forget to smell the flowers, call your mother or tell your wife that you love her. If
you're starting a new business or you're already a successful business owner, try not to forget the other things in
your life that are just as important. In summary, I sat outside tonight and realized that I was working over 60 hours
a week producing and recording voice overs. Even though I love and cherish my work and I hope to do this until I'm
100, I've been neglecting to stop, take a breath and appreciate all that is around me.
Man, wasn't
this blog entry just packed with comedy and action? I guess there were things on my mind tonight. My next entry
will be very deep. It will feature my top ten favorite beers.
