MOM GOES HOMEFor all of you that had sent your wonderful thoughts and prayers regarding
my mother, she has finally been discharged from the hospital and headed home. She is doing well. Her speech isn't
100% but she is walking and doing quite well. The e-mails and phone calls I received during this time were very much
appreciated. I am honored to be a part of such a wonderful pool of friends and collegues. I can't thank you
enough for all you've done for my career and personal life.

PRO TOOLS VS. ADOBE AUDITION 3.0Well, I may be on an island all by myself but as you may already know, the industry standard in the recording
world is "Pro Tools". My opinion? Big fricken deal! I will go to my grave with the new "Adobe
Audition 3.0'! I find it to be more user friendly, easier to use when you DON'T have a MAC and you don't
have to pay extra for all the "plug ins"! I find Pro Tools to be a little high maintenance! Maybe it's
just one of those things! It's like saying to sushi lovers that I don't like sushi! They look at you like
you're insane! :)

HAS THE WRITER'S STRIKE HAD AN IMPACT ON YOUR VOICE OVER WORK?I thought this was great question
that I received from a client. The answer is no. I have seen a drop off in National commercials and auditions,
so I do believe some of the major national agencies have been effected a bit. Most of the work I get are from direct
clients. Any agency work is just gravy for me. With that said, the strike is effecting friends of mine in the
TV industry. Hopefully, they'll get this thing settles soon or we'll get to see more shows like "Dancing
with the Stars"! Some folks wouldn't mind but I'll take guilty pleasure like "Grey's Anatomy"
and "The Office" over reality TV!
