USE A VOICE ACTOR TO ANNOUNCE YOURSELF!The work of voice-over artists is everywhere. In fact, your world is filled
with voiceovers. Chances are, you don't even notice them. At least you didn't before you started thinking about hiring
a voiceover professional. If you're wondering why you never thought about voice actors and their work before, it's
because you typically aren't necessarily supposed to take them into general consideration. One of the most interesting
things about being voice talent is the ability to grab someone's attention while simultaneously redirecting that attention
from yourself to the product or service being sold. It may sound a bit odd when you start to actually think about it, doesn't
it? If you attempt to create these results yourself, you're going to end up drawing the listener's attention to the
voice you and away from your service, which is counter productive. This is the primary reason you should hire a professional
if you are in need of a voice over. Consider the large number
of places that voice overs appear, beyond television promotions and jingles. Voice talent can be hired to introduce your event
or promote your commercial website. Many people attempt to complete those types of projects for themselves. Perhaps it is
because they do not think of them as important enough to hire an actor. If your goal is to increase visibility, promote your
business or effectively transmit information, it is worth doing right. For example, if you want to produce an audio book, why would you even think about voicing it yourself - unless, of
course, you are a professional-grade voice talent. Most people are not. Corporate and educational videos can be highly effective-
if done properly. If you have a good script, and people enjoy listening to the speaker, then the result of your message can
bring you a high measure of success. However, if the audience has a difficult time listening to the speaker's voice for
one reason or another, then your success will be limited. You
may be of the opinion that hiring an amateur or doing it yourself will save you some money. In the beginning, yes- but if
this is a business venture, it will actually cost you money in the long run. Sounding cheap can cost you the respect of the
buyers you're attempting to impress. Customers are more likely to spend their money with customers that give them a more
professional impression. If they hear you sounding confused in a voiceover, as so many wannabes do, then they're going
to reconsider spending their money with you. It is worth the extra expense for your business to ensure that your message is
well received and creates intended returns.
